Pam posted one in the W.E.T. Replaces Warrant thread. I thought it sounded great, though Jeff seemed a bit too low in the mix for the lead vocal, to me.

Backing vocals sound terrible and the guitarist punted on playing the awesome outro solo in its entirety. JSS sounded good, but the song didn't work live. I'm not surprised. Songs with this structure never seem to come off as well live. A Journey analogy would be Higher Place.

Guess we're coming from two different places Matt, the last thing I want LIVE is the music to sound exactly like the albums. LIVE is LIVE baby, it's more raw, spontaneous. Otherwise I'd sit at home and listen to the cds.![]()
I didn't think the backing vocals were terrible, although the only complaint I could possibly have on that is that JSS' vocals aren't high enough in the mix for me, during the chorus. I think it would have blended better if we could hear Jeff's pipes more up front. Otherwise his delivery was fantastic!

W.E.T. should have grabbed a handful of other singers present at Firefest and had them replicate those huge backing vocals that the album had. If I Fall was pretty much a train wreck, as far as backing vocals go, and I think that song is great.
