The FDH Lounge and Sportsology are enormously privileged to present a conversation with one of the singers who defined the modern era of rock, Steve Perry. From his days fronting Journey to his various solo efforts, we'll trace the history of this singular frontman

And you get to hear him sing a few words there. Very cool.

Spot-on, from memory, in the same key.

Not a diss either. Quite amazing actually. Anyone want me to call them and sing a line of "Cupid"?
He even threw in some vibrato..portland wrote:AR wrote:I find it beyond hilarious that the loons are salivating over a few seconds of anything resembling a note from SP.

Isn't that just something?
I think it shows just what an impact Sam Cooke had on a very young Steve Perry' sittin in his mom's T-Bird'
.....
Nearly fifty years later, he 'channels' it, and sings it in a crisp, clear voice...with just the right vibrato...Just wow....Sixty One years old.. Just wow..
Please, someone in the business tell Steve that he has to put down some tracks.
Now would be the right time Steve.
Seriously.
