Maybe, maybe not.

Could care less what others think on that matter.

Most decisions for everyone are personal. I don't judge on most things. I personally think I drink too much at times, mostly on weekends for my age. Wife and daughter love me though and I have a good place of employment. I know some who don't drink at all that have had miserable sort lives.

Just try to enjoy your time here and do whatever works for you. I think all of us can be better people unless your name was Mother Theresa.

As long as you don't "drink and post". That's bad

Is it acceptable if I have a designated poster?

You would need to choose carefully!

Good to hear. All is well. Apart from Froy's tiresome dribble and SJ's BS attitude.

Rick if I ever go "old school" I would ask you to be my "designated poster".

I would be honored. ;)

Certainly some things haven't changed.

SJ is the best though. Really want him to raise a glass again with me and Soto. (We'll see) :?:

Musical discussion is much more insightful and less vitriolic now than the "old days".

Forget exactly when Wombat let me back, but any reservations I might have had were gone within 2 days. Pretty easy to return and I didn't think it would be. Thanks all. :)

Save your speech. Unless you can prove that Froy, factually, violated the terms of some sworn AA meeting that he agreed to keep anonymous, you need to button the fuck up. Let's see the proof.

Button the fuck up?

See ya.

Deano is allowed to light up Augeri whenever he wants at least to the same degree Dan lights up Perry, but he's not banned. And don't say it was because Dan said "button the fuck up" to Lora, or that Deano has been banned in the past, either. Because Deano (and plenty of other people, myself included) go at other posters just as hard or harder all the time. And I'm not trying to call Deano out here. He's just the best example (and proud of it, no doubt).

With all due respect, this really reeks of you massaging Perry's balls now that you got the interview. Dan makes this place fun to read, provides a minority view of Perry that is much more interesting than reading the rampant ball washing that runs amok here among most other posters, and I don't see how banning him either (1) has a purpose or (2) is equitable at all, given the conduct of many other posters :/.

It's all in who WANTS Dan banned though Matt.

But to be fair, Drew has sent Deano on more vacations than friggin Carnival Cruise lines.

I was in the front row pit 2 feet from the guy and he sounded great, Bottom line if you don't use your cords your not going to hit the notes, Perry should be singing every 3 days on tour with Journey . Who ever is his yes man or women needs to stop enabling this guy and tell him to get his ass back on stage with Journey A tour like this would gross 200 million dollars. And close the book that remains unfinished. This BS reunion unlikely crap is ridiculous, Would Steve Perry's mom tell him to not go back to Journey if she were alive today? I would bet the bank that she would be telling him what Im telling him. Don't be afraid you can do it Eye of the Tiger . Remember when you first started Steve how you ran on stage like a mad man and ripped up the place? I do I saw it 50 times and there was nobody better. To sit home and play the drums and sing into a mac is a waste of life, You want a yes man stay home you want a manager Give me a call we start training for the tour in March.

Gotta say no way Froy. Let the guy do what he wants. He can make magic in a studio into a microphone and thrill us all. I never, NEVER, saw Steve Perry live. I know you saw a lot of shows with the man, but this ain't 1983 bro, LOL. He needs to do whatever he owes to himself to make himself happy and for the rest of us, his voice and songs have a great big place in our hearts. He has no obligation to go out and beat the fuck out of himself every night just so Neal Schon can buy a few more sports cars for his girlfriends.

Exactly...and the same thing goes for Styx and many other bands. It seems these guys in these bands know a lot more about life and staying happy then over-zealous and selfish fans do.

Perry has the right to live his life the way he wants to. He is not a puppet to be controlled by anyone. If and when he decides to perform it will be on his own terms and the way he wants. He is a human being and entitled to his own choices. And as much as I would love to see him sing again, I would never try and make him do anything he is not wanting to do down deep in his heart. The man gave at the office for quite a few years. I was fortunate to get to see him. It was magic. If nothing else it was some of the best memories of my life. :D

No disagreement there. Did you see the original Black Sabbath reunion coming ? Ozzy is gone and he still is getting back with the original band. You think they love each other? My biggest issue with Perry is he comes to sell a Journey cd but in the same breath say's they have gone there separate ways, Makes absolutely no sense, Whats the real reason for the cd? Current Journey which I can't stand getting to popular? This game is so damn old How many times has he said he is going to record a new cd in the last 20 years only to show nothing in return. He has no website zilch. He says Journey is doing what they are doing and he is doing what he is doing Last I checked he is still doing nothing, What a shame his stories don't even make sense at all. It is a damn shame that every great band from the past has had a terrible ending from the Beatles to the Bee Gees to Styx to Journey not 1 happy ending, Steve Perry could change that but he instead plays the drums and sings to himself and keeps making promises or suggestions that he has no intention of keeping. That is lack of integrity don't make promises you can't keep

Styx is happy because they are collecting pay checks 100 times a year, They rerecord there songs to sell to fans. They make up tee shirts to sell to fans ,They play the same show for 10 years just to collect the cash
That is selling out period, They have lost 90 percent of there fan base and can't even sell out a 3000 seater, They don't care its just about the money period.

Your the one who's talking smack... and passive-agressively at that... "With all due respect, this really reeks of you massaging Perry's balls".. that's a real respectful statement right there...

Try pulling your head outta your ass... and we all might be able to understand what you are saying....

FACT: It's a private forum

There's been other forums created as a consequence of posters here getting their asses handed to them after they cried "free speech!"... they crashed and burned if I recall..

don't like it .. leave...

To my point with froy and SB... post some proof... or it isn't proven... its really that simple... its not fact unless you can prove it.. The only thing you've proven with your post is that yer a fucking idiot.

Get serious. Dan's post was offensive and confrontational - as usual. No one tells someone of Lora's stature to 'button the fuck up' on my forum. End of story.
