Folks,
I hope people go out and live today for today. I've lost two friends this week and a friend I've not met in person (Dean). Please loose the bitterness and enjoy every day for what it's worth and what everyone has left in the day. Today could be your last so enjoy it and relish it like it is your last.
I'm really surprised at how hard I'm taking the death of a person I've never met. I've read Deans posts for years on MR. The guy was so brutal, funny, SMART and raw it was unbelievable. He was smart, funny and brutal in his presentation of he seen as the truth. I never got to meet him in person but I loved reading his posts, loved his passion, and most importantly, loved his humour. The guy was one of the funniest people to walk earth. It's a toss up between Dean and Sam K. on who was the funniest. I feel a little weird about posting this, I'm sure Deano would call me a Eurofag if he thought I was from Europe for this post. The bottom line is even though I never met him in person, I felt I knew him and considered him a friend. I enjoyed reading his damn funny posts over the years. I used to love giving him a poke on ocassion on a point or two but I never had the energy to "win a post" with the guy. It would take too much of my energy. I think this plays to how smart of a guy Dean was. He was educated in his humour which is not easy to find. Call me a Eurofag but I really looked forward to reading Dean's posts on MR. I loved his wit, passion, rawness and honesty. Rock on Dean, I wished I would have been able to meet you in person.
