Getting in should be about bringing something different to the table and having success with it. There's quite a few groups with 100 million album sold so to get into the hall has to entail more than just straight up record sales. Being a pioneer or daring to be different should be rewarded over longevity and just touring until you die.
And I agree ...The Moody Blues should be there. The classical music fusion thing is just
a fraction of their offerings, they are a progressive rock pioneer.Who said, "ELO"? I saw them mentioned somewhere, but can't find it in this thread...THEY belong!!

I agree! Even though Im not a huge fan, they are the most successful duo ever. I cant believe these guys are not in the hall. I also think the new wave group The Cars should be in their too. They made a very unique sound and pretty much constructed their own nitch in music.
