Luckily for Arnel, all of the unfounded fears that Schon and his nut job at the time imparted on me all pretty much came to fruition with Arnel, yet since they weren't evident until they were already on tour with the guy, there wasn't really anything they could do. And that my friends is today's lesson in irony and poetic justice.

Well that's how he runs things. He's laying it all out on the table so consider the demands of the position and then take it or leave it. Much like a job interview, yes? You interviewed, why bitch about the requirements that the job position demands?

Since Pineda has been in the band, Journey has to had bring his family with them, lower the songs down and limit the amount of shows they do every week, less their singer gets too tired. In all actuality, they hired a guy who couldn't really handle quite a few of the initial employment requirements it seems.
Isn't that what you were trying to say, Sush?

He wasn't there.. yet he "knows" exactly what transpired and why...

I'm not talking shit about anyone, really. What would I be accomplishing by doing so? What I am doing is looking at all sides of the situation. You're right, I wasn't there, but I'm taking Jeremey's account of what was discussed in the 500SL as an accurate reaccount. So I was there, by proxy. Unless you want to say that Jeremey's reaccount wasn't accurate enough.

What a Journey! Michaele Salahi and Neal Schon walk red carpet at Silverdocs, bail out early
She wore a form-fitting white satin dress and rhinestone flip-flops that brought the statuesque blonde down to Schon’s height - a courtesy she rarely seemed to accord to her ex. The guitarist was turned out in black leather and shades. The divorce from Tareq — currently mounting a quixotic campaign for governor of Virginia while grappling with state crackdowns on his charity and businesses — has grown ugly, but the new couple seemed untroubled.
And as soon as the credits rolled — Schon and Salahi were outta there, despite imploring from organizers to stay. The guitarist was overheard grousing that the film didn’t emphasize the dynamics of the band enough. A rep for the band told us Schon had informed organizers over the weekend he couldn’t stay for the panel but did not elaborate on why.[/i]

Meh...based on posting history I just kinda got the whole troll vibe, not really a shot at me in particular just a continuation of a certain posting style I've noticed over the past few weeks. It was clearly a misunderstanding or misrepresentation of my post, but I think most people here got the point.

Nothing flourishes without being fed. Jeremey simply chose not to provide any food and took the high road. That takes class.

Wrong.... you have no idea what Neal or Jon meant... yet you inferred from Jeremey's post regarding NS and JC that:Well that's how he runs things. He's laying it all out on the table so consider the demands of the position and then take it or leave it. Much like a job interview, yes? You interviewed, why bitch about the requirements that the job position demands?

Might not be going anywhere, but that wagon is not little.
The Sushi Hunter wrote:Your making an issue out of nothing. Cut and dry, these are the requirements that the job demand, take it or leave it. End of story. I remember Jeremey mentioning this around three years ago. He made the decision that the band route was not for him because of these requirements that the job demanded. He was happy with his decision and that made it right.
Your just raw because I'm not jumping on your little bandwagon that's slowly making it's way through Nowhereville of hating Schon or any other member of the band because of these requirements that they demand from who is going to take the job offer. Where do you get off dictating how specific members or the band should run their business? Your going outside the scope of your relationship with the band. This is why I don't jump on your bandwagon, I don't have any desire to go outside the scope of my relationship with the band, which is "if I like the music, I buy the album and/or go to the concerts". That's it.
