At what point? I have this documentary buried somewhere in my closet. I just happened to skip to 1 hr 9mins where Steve is singing Still They Ride.... Sounds damn good to me!
The guy on Captured, no one could substain that voice forever. Look at Mariah Carey. At the beginning of her career she had an amazing voice. Sang effortlessly from from top to bottom and back again. Now? Rumor has it she mouths all of her vocals.

Tell him, girlfriend!!
I saw one of the Dallas shows on this tour and while it wasn't as good as the Escape tour, it was still a great show.

You are one lucky man! My friend Linda saw them during the ROR tour. I told her that I am really angry with her for not rescuing me from my trailer park and taking me with her. Never mind, I didn;t know her back then or that I was a Bon Jovi fan and would have probably said Journey who?????????
If I had only know that Bon Jovi would be playing the grandma and grave yard circuit 50 years later, I might have skipped one of their shows to see Steve the VOICE Perry!
Back in the day, I loved songs like Who's Crying Now, but had no idea how prolific the man was til I was given a copy For The Love of Strange Medicine. Would have seen him on tour then, but he cut it short. Then lost my last chance with TBF, didn't happen tour....
Just a word of warning to the FLSM snarkers, in the wise words of Lucy, from Peanuts, "I'll pound you!"

Me personally, I'd take the "frontiers" version of Perry's voice over anything else he's ever done. While I do obviously like his earlier stuff with the band, I felt his voice was too "clean". I liked the mix of grit and rasp that he added to his vocals during the mid 80's.

Studio-wise, I agree. Live recordings, yikes.
