I am interested in this ...BUT, I will be so upset if things don't turn around for you. If things work out for me
I'll carry a chair for you, I'll carry you, just let me know what I can do (all your guys will be there) ...
Wow, wasn't expecting this to come to fruition so quickly, but yayy!!![]()
Things sure look different around here ...nice job, Andrew!!
(Oh, man ...I have to remove a bunch of quotes, though.)
What does the little red asterisk on the light bulb mean?
ahhaaa, hello, friend... so sorry. I've missed it, but sort of got out of the habit ...it happened just like w/the drinking, drugs and sex addictions.Rick wrote:I think it means it's a busy topic. With that said, you can't just come in here after not posting for eons and just, with a flip of your hair, think you're all that, and like, pick up where you left off. Hi, MG.
Do you know that if you don't hurry and respond once you sign in, this new site just logs you off and you have to start all over again? Am I doing something wrong? I don't think I can be as entertaining if I'm not able to make off the cuff responses ...![]()

Yes, I've read a little about the drama, and I have a few things to add, but I may have to hire a secretary to do it.Everett wrote:Doing good. Could go without some of the drama but hey it's life. Good to finally see
ya back around these parts.
You and a few others, I'm sure!!Everett wrote:Though i would be lying if i said i didn't like to

Rick wrote:It has never logged me off. That is strange. And Everett said it does that to him too.
I hope you get back IN the habit. Good to see you.
What I started doing, was read, and then only sign in when I want to post. So that way it doesn't time out while you're typing. It's so annoying though! I think we have a good 5 or 10 min before it times out. I wonder if andrew is even aware of this??? Or if it's something he can change? And I wonder why this doesn't happen to Rick??? I use an iPhone mostly. So maybe it's that? So many questions!!!Michigan Girl wrote:Melissa wrote:I'll have to prepare for all our laughter again!
lol ...ME TOO!!

And Lynny knows about it too ^^^^^^^^^^^^. I had to type all of this in word and transfer. That sorta takes
the fun out of talking, you know. I'm going to time it today and see how long I can read before I'm timed out.
Thank you, Rick

Oh, sorry ...I was in "WORD" typing another response.
Good Idea!! However, another thing I've noticed ...a good thing, is that when you click on a topic that you've read before, sign off and then sign back on again, this newfangled site takes you to the first response posted after the last response you read, ,,,is that not so cool? I don't think I'm imagining it, I've tested and retested. it's real. How does it know? And why does it like Rick better than us?![]()

I haven't seen that happen yet, weird, lol! I didn't even know I had pm's here until that "junk mail" email notification, there's no pop up window now I guess? Who knows, I'm so not one of those computer genius people, I have friends who are, but not me

lol ...I'm not either, but the first post posted after the last post read absolutely works. Obviously, you have to be signed in or the system doesn't know you're there, or where you left off. Lynny is right, 10 minutes max idle time and then I'm done.![]()
RICK, at work I'm DT, IE, W7 ...my phone is the siii/droid. Do you ever leave your PC at work signed on to MR, yet idle, and then come back and you're still signed in?

well THAT explains it! I never check that box!! Guess I will start doing that if I have to type a lot, or want to keep the site in the background, signed in. Thanks for reading the faq's!Michigan Girl wrote:Don wrote:You all need to go in the [i]control panel [/i ]and configure you account. I'll have to do that. Thank you.
Meanwhile, Lynny, in the FAQ's ...
Why do I get logged off automatically?
If you do not check the Log me in automatically box when you login, the board will only keep you logged in for a preset time. This prevents misuse of your account by anyone else. To stay logged in, check the box during login. This is not recommended if you access the board from a shared computer, e.g. library, internet cafe, university computer lab, etc. If you do not see this checkbox, it means the board administrator has disabled this feature
It's amazing, probably all the answers you can think of ~there ...imagine that.
And to bring this back on topic ...yes, I'm interested in the MRF, sounds awesome!!

Rick wrote:Andrew. What would be the feasibility of forming a MR.com band, from the members here, to play on stage for an hour or so at this event? If enough musically talented people from here are in attendance, I would bet they would jump at the chance of getting up there. It may be hard to organize at this point, would that be something that is doable?
