Wow, wasn't expecting this to come to fruition so quickly, but yayy!!

Things sure look different around here ...nice job, Andrew!!

ahhaaa, hello, friend... so sorry. I've missed it, but sort of got out of the habit ...it happened just like w/the drinking, drugs and sex addictions.
Do you know that if you don't hurry and respond once you sign in, this new site just logs you off and you have to start all over again? Am I doing something wrong? I don't think I can be as entertaining if I'm not able to make off the cuff responses ... :D

Yes, I've read a little about the drama, and I have a few things to add, but I may have to hire a secretary to do it.

And Lynny knows about it too ^^^^^^^^^^^^. I had to type all of this in word and transfer. That sorta takes
the fun out of talking, you know. I'm going to time it today and see how long I can read before I'm timed out.

What I started doing, was read, and then only sign in when I want to post. So that way it doesn't time out while you're typing. It's so annoying though! I think we have a good 5 or 10 min before it times out. I wonder if andrew is even aware of this??? Or if it's something he can change? And I wonder why this doesn't happen to Rick??? I use an iPhone mostly. So maybe it's that? So many questions!!!

Oh, sorry ...I was in "WORD" typing another response.
Good Idea!! However, another thing I've noticed ...a good thing, is that when you click on a topic that you've read before, sign off and then sign back on again, this newfangled site takes you to the first response posted after the last response you read, ,,,is that not so cool? I don't think I'm imagining it, I've tested and retested. it's real. How does it know? And why does it like Rick better than us?

Don't know what the deal is. I'm using my desktop with Windows 7 and Firefox. What are your configurations, Lynn, MG and Everett?

I haven't seen that happen yet, weird, lol! I didn't even know I had pm's here until that "junk mail" email notification, there's no pop up window now I guess? Who knows, I'm so not one of those computer genius people, I have friends who are, but not me

lol ...I'm not either, but the first post posted after the last post read absolutely works. Obviously, you have to be signed in or the system doesn't know you're there, or where you left off. Lynny is right, 10 minutes max idle time and then I'm done.

RICK, at work I'm DT, IE, W7 ...my phone is the siii/droid. Do you ever leave your PC at work signed on to MR, yet idle, and then come back and you're still signed in? :?

We can't access MR from work. Have to use my phone. I have the S3 also, and it never signs me out either.

You all need to go in the control panel and configure you account. What posts you want to see (new ones only or the whole thread?), picture, avatars, signatures, etc. Lots of stuff to tinker with under the hood.

I'll have to do that. Thank you.

Meanwhile, Lynny, in the FAQ's ...

Why do I get logged off automatically?
If you do not check the Log me in automatically box when you login, the board will only keep you logged in for a preset time. This prevents misuse of your account by anyone else. To stay logged in, check the box during login. This is not recommended if you access the board from a shared computer, e.g. library, internet cafe, university computer lab, etc. If you do not see this checkbox, it means the board administrator has disabled this feature

It's amazing, probably all the answers you can think of ~there ...imagine that. :?

And to bring this back on topic ...yes, I'm interested in the MRF, sounds awesome!!

well THAT explains it! I never check that box!! Guess I will start doing that if I have to type a lot, or want to keep the site in the background, signed in. Thanks for reading the faq's!

Harem Scarem- Human Nature live
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAkr45_k9uQ

Most excited to hear H.S. live out of all the lineup. Was a bummer when they couldn't make the first fest, BUT I love the acoustic EP CD that came from that, lol.

Andrew. What would be the feasibility of forming a MR.com band, from the members here, to play on stage for an hour or so at this event? If enough musically talented people from here are in attendance, I would bet they would jump at the chance of getting up there. It may be hard to organize at this point, would that be something that is doable?

Not as of yet, Kim. If I can I sure will. Would be EPIC to meet you. :) By the way, how is that Rhiannon kid doing? She doesn't post here anymore. You either, much, for that matter. I hope that changes. :)

Yeah I know I haven't, multiple reasons, really. Kind of a long story, unfortunate circumstance with a couple things (by which I mean a shitpile of lies being told after being kind and doing someone a huge favor...). It was easier to just get on with things and put some distance than try to fight a losing battle. It would be nice to set things straight but what can ya do. Other things going on also, finally settling down a little, so I find I have some time to catch up. We just moved and had a wedding all in one week so busy is an understatement!!

We're actually thinking of seeing if people are coming in for MR fest early, like on Thursday like many did last time, or what the plan was, because we might like to throw a little get together, throw some food on the grill, ya know? We live very close to where the hotel is, he actually passes it coming home every day. Thoughts anyone??
