Today we lost a true superhero. You will be missed, Muhammad Ali.
To be honest, it’s not as dramatic as the press is making it out to be – from what I’m seeing. And right now I’m seeing everything as more an outsider looking into this box. So from that perspective, it’s really cool that it’s not crazy, crazy dramatic. I think it’s great. Geoff Johns is super talented, super smart. Part of what got me excited about the Aquaman character is his re-envisioning of Aquaman, the character, with The New 52. And that’s super exciting. And I’m working very closely with him, and I want to work with him very closely to shape the story that I want to tell.

Cast appearances, fan contests and a Hard Rock Hotel takeover are on tap for the July event.
DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures are going to be pushing Suicide Squad hard at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, with the announcement Thursday that the movie will have a "major presence" at the annual pop culture saturnalia, including appearances by the cast and a fan-friendly re-creation of the movie's onscreen prison.
While details of who will be part of Warner Bros.' Hall H presentation remain under wraps, DC Entertainment has revealed that the cast will also take part in a special taping of Conan O'Brien's TBS show on Saturday, July 23, to be broadcast later that evening, as well as make an appearance at the DC Entertainment booth on the convention floor that day to sign for fans.
Additionally, part of the Hard Rock Hotel in the city's Gaslamp Quarter will be transformed into the Belle Reve Penitentiary, the fictional prison that houses the supervillains who make up the Squad, featuring another Harley Quinn tattoo parlor (The first appeared at the SXSW festival in March) and a virtual reality experience that allows fans to fight alongside the Squad themselves in a scene from the movie.
DC also launched a fan contest called Squad Up! Thursday that invites fans to create cosplay based on the movie's protagonists, with 11 different winners — one for each member of the team, as well as the Joker — being given an all-expenses-paid trip to Comic-Con next month.
San Diego Comic-Con runs July 21-24, with the traditional Preview Night on July 20, at the San Diego Convention Center. Suicide Squad is released Aug. 5.

Glad Wan's now getting his due. From Saw 1 to Dead Silence to Death Sentence, this guy has been very under-appreciated. I think Aquaman is going to blow people away.

.There’s no “Part One” in the logo Ben Affleck tweeted because Warner Bros. has apparently scrapped “Part Two” -- despite the fact that Warner Bros. still has “Justice League Part Two” slated for June 14, 2019.
“We were only ever planning and we are only doing just 'Justice League.' One movie,” “Justice League” producer Deb Snyder told this weekend’s assemblage of nerd press.
“So no two parts?” somebody asked.
“No,” replied Snyder.
HowbutWHAT?
So why does a “Part One” and a “Part Two” still occupy the Warner Bros. release calendar? And why have they been on that slate so long if the Snyders have only “ever” been planning one?
Does this mean Deb’s husband Zack is exiting the franchise following “Man of Steel,” “Batman V Superman” and “Justice League”?
Stay tuned
