This is the very definition of fake news. Rasmussen is a very conservative leaning poll. If you look at their history they have always polled Trumps approval in the high 40s to low 50s. So this is not that surprising. The RCP average is still in the low 40s...which is pretty bad. If the RCP average rises close to 50, then Biden can worry.

As for the endorsement. It's really not that big of a deal. They have endorsed every Republican candidate after Bill Clinton. So, endorsing yet another Republican should be expected. If BIDEN would have received it, it would would have been a big deal since it would have been 24 years since they endorsed a Democrat. It also means that Obama/Biden won twice without their endorsement.

Yes, Trump leads in the economy. But, even FOX has admitted he has been unable to turn that into overall support for reelection. If the election were held today, he would lose in a landslide. In addition, the economy is the ONLY issue he leads in. He has a huge negatives...where Biden is about 50/50. Trump loses in the handling of the virus, loses on healthcare, loses on foreign affairs...everything but the economy. He also loses in a HUGE way in the direction of the country. As I said, he loses in the favorbility gap. Trump has hardly anything going for him at this point.

Actually, this is just more propaganda. Since judges are independent of politics, you really do not know how they will rule in years to come. The current Supreme Court is a perfect example...they are supposed to be a new conservative majority but some recent rulings were really against Trump despite his appointments. If you look at what Trump zombies now want, they think they need a couple more appointments to put the Supreme Court on their side and support their agenda.

You just don't get it. Right now, Biden is twice as far ahead of Trump as Clinton was. 8% of the black vote is horrible...and even with a small bump he is not going to make up enough ground with just that. The real issue in 2016 was that voter turn out for Democrats in general was horrible, and that includes the black vote. I just don't see that happening this year.

Well, it isn't really affecting anything...until your personal experience is multiplied by a few million, Biden still has an overwhelming victory if the election were held today. The one thing that I can think of that can change it is the debates...and Trump himself has lowered expectation for Biden so far that I doubt that it will be much of a game changer.

Something to think about: Every Republican president after Reagan has left the economy in shambles. GW Bush had the Savings and Loan crisis and a recession. W had the housing crisis and Great Recession. Now Trump has had this pandemic economy and recession. This is what supply side economics and conservatives do - they fuck up a stable economy by giving tax cuts to corporation and the rich - even when they are NOT NEEDED, deregulate corporate America, cause HUGE deficits, and end in a financial crisis that a Democrat (Clinton/Obama/Biden) has to fix. This is history repeating itself.
