Throughout 2021, total demand for Max series grew by 39.2%. Demand for Netflix originals in the same 12-month period grew by 10.3%.
Parrot Analytics said that Max was the fastest-growing major streaming service in 2021 when it came to demand share for originals.
By the end of the year, total demand for Max originals was well ahead of Netflix.
The demand for Max's originals is impressive given that it has far fewer subscribers than Netflix and Disney+. Netflix said last week that it had 222 million subscribers worldwide. Disney+ had 118 million global subscribers as of October.
HBO and Max ended 2021 with a combined 73.8 million subscribers, according to parent company AT&T, surpassing projections while Netflix and Disney+'s subscriber growth had slowed.

Closer to the Nolan Batman than Zach's. Robert did a good job playing the hero, his Bruce still needs work. He is like in Batman mode no matter which person he is playing at the time. The 3 hours passed by quick, and the movie was over before it seemed it began. Will have to go see again.

Yeah, it's getting great reviews. I may see it Saturday.
It's ironic that these non-DCEU movies are so much better than the connected universe. Next you are going to have Batman in the Flash movie setting up the future, and it's not using the same Batman...But, they are already talking sequels to this one. Plus the Joke sequel, not connected to the MCEU. And, they are all in completely different timelines so it doesn't make sense to do cross-over. Just a mess, IMO.

Monker wrote:Wow, I watched an interview with Dwayne and he said Black Adam came to defend his own country, not the world. He said that all of these other DC superheroes were unknown to them. When someone like Superman would show up to defend their country, they would respond with, "Why do we need you? We already have a hero. We have Black Adam."
So, either Dwayne doesn't know what he's talking about or this, "the world needed a hero and the world got Black Adam." is a lie, not representing the movie or the character very well.
Also, when he was asked about appearing in future DC movies, in a cameo or otherwise, he looked like he didn't know what to say or how to answer, then he gave a general, "well, that is the idea..." sorta response. So, I doubt anything is planned definitely.verslibre wrote:
