It says something about his derangement and narcissism that he’s pushing me more towards #teamjon despite Jon’s shitty politics and creative laziness.

Neal, in his defense, says all 3 primary members (Neal, Jon, Arnel) have social media passwords and can post to the official JRNY pages if they want. That being said, I'd rather have ZERO posts than the crap Neal posts. None of it is related to Journey. Just self-promotion of himself or his wife. Didn't the Resonate video already teach him that there is no public appetite to see him slobbering on someone?
There was a brief period where they were locked out of Twitter because QPrime had the password. Hopefully the new manager intervenes and quick!

The stories expired, they only last 12-24 hours I believe. But TNC, Monker, and others can attest... Neal and Michaele shit are there all the time. You may not catch them because of the time zone difference.

Eric wrote:The odd thing about the drama and poor/embarrassing social media performance is that they had a tremendously active and productive year from mid 2021 to mid 2022. A sold out/close to sold out every night tour of big arenas, Lollapoolaza, NYE show, CNN 4th show, Orchestra shows, Football HOF show, new album and a new DVD. Either this all was momentum Q-prime started or Schon should be able to motivate direction... just not be the face of it.

It's funny how everybody assumes that adding Gregg means that Jonathan is fired. Since Jonathan is part of Freedom LLC, I don't think Gregg could be hired without Jonathan agreeing. And, Neal can't fire Jonathan any more than he could fire Steve Perry from Elmo LLC. If Jonathan leaves, Neal is going to have to buy him out in the same way he did with Steve Perry.
Neal never said adding Gregg is a replacement for Jonathan. I would expect to see them both on tour. If anything the second keyboardist (Jason?) is the one who is no longer needed for the tour.

Archetype wrote:I’m aware of all of that, and I didn’t assume anything, and I never said Neal said anything about Jonathan in this context. However, the prospect of Gregg joining the 50th anniversary tour was discussed previously in this thread, and this confirms he’s getting involved somehow.

Well, the right change is for Jonathan to talk to Nightmare and see if he can get the Journey license if he forms a new version of Journey with Arnel, Steve Smith, Ross Valory, Gregg Rolie, himself, and some other guitarist. Neal is a mental case.

Arnel and Rolie wouldn't choose Cain. And a Cain/Valory/Smith Journey would be perfect if you like low energy shows with no new music.
The best thing would be if someone can reign in Schon without zapping his drive. Someone else needs to drive the bus AND sit behind the driver... but Schon needs to be in the front of the bus, too. His drama may be bad, but Journey did more July 2021-August 2022 than they had 2012-2020 combined.

Yeah, they released a crappy album that earned little attention, had a revolving door for members - even during the tour, had multiple cases of legal trouble, fired hired fired and hired management, went on tour where the mix sounded like crap half the time. Neal is a drunk driver while driving the Journey bus. HE is Journey's biggest problem.

Did she really have access to Journey's corporate card? Yikes.
