You are speculating on ALL of the above. You do NOT know how Perry's 'recovery' was perceived and predicted by his doctors. You do NOT know how 'limited' he was before, during, or after the surgery. You do NOT know how Perry reacted psychologicaly.
You are just guessing and dreaming up your own answers.
Abitaman wrote:They didn't play a Journey concert and Bad English either. This is the same questions asked by Styx fans, and now Foreigner fans, as Mick looks for a replacement for ex-leader singer Lou Gramm. New name, and you do not get the casual fans of the group. Keep the name (which I have no problem with) and people know who you are and what to expect. I am a huge fan of Perry, DeYoung, and Gramm. They are are 3 of my 5 favorite singers, and they are now longer in the groups they helped form. But I will see them solo if they wish to carry on, which Perry seems incapiable of doing. Dennis and Lou are both working in the music buisness still. I will see the groups they were in. Same difference can not be worked out, but that is the world we live in.-ERIC

Q: Why did you LEAVE Journey?
I've never read or heard a straight forward answer to that question from Mr. Perry, have any of you?
To me, it doesn't matter either way..he's left Journey and I've moved on with this band, BUT perhaps (just perhaps) it might provide some closure to the diehard Perry loyalists who still find it difficult to accept Journey with Steve Augeri.
I would love to answer this, but can we all be adults about this?...
I don't want to start a war with my answers, but if some of you are looking for a "clear answer" I can shed some light on the (soap-opera era) between the band and Steve Perry...

I don't come here on a daily basis so don't ever expect a quick answer from anything I say, however you need to get off the couch, stop eating pizza pockets, stop watching Regis, Oprah and ET, and "GET A LIFE"...most of you are missing out on the beauty of life itself by logging on here every three to four hours...
I have monitored many post in my 1-year here, and it's sad to see so many of you making this your life... I dare you to go out and smell a rose, take a deep look at it, and try and wonder how it flourished with no help other than itself and some water... don't make this a help center for the lonely, GO OUT AND LIVE LIFE !!!...
I log on for one purpose only, and thats to see how the name Journey has been treated, I have to say i'm not pleased with the way things have went over the past 6-7 years, but I can't help myself clearing-up any wrong-doing to the name Journey... I somehow can't let go of the legacy !

Actually, to my dismay, many extreme right wing conservative talking heads have conceded that John Kerry won the debate last night. Everyone from Fox News, to Rush Limbaugh, to even Mister Bob Novak(or as Jon Stewart dubs him) the "douchebag of liberty", gave Kerry's performance an A, and Bush a B-.
Frankly, I thought it was pretty much a draw.
